Hello Sir/Madam My father 60yrs old is suffering with loose motions for 6 days, 2days back found out mucus or pus in motions, with heavy gas. we have consulted two doctors & took medication, after recovery if he starts to take normal food the problem was also getting repeated. Whether it is due to gastric problem or amoebiasis he is not having stomach pain. how to find out the reason? Which doctor to be consulted? He needs to go for stool examination and if pus then culture and sensitivity of it. You can consult a gastroenterologist for further investigations.
