I have been advised to go for CoVId test which is scheduled for Saturday this week..It's been more than a week that I have lost sense of taste/smell. Could someone tell me how many days does it take for a person to regain their taste/smell

Loss of taste and smell are classical symptoms of Covid-19. Without test consider yourself suffering from Covid and self Isolate. In few patients we have seen these senses back within 7 days and others have this for about a month. There's no Medication for this as of now. Few doctors prescribe Steroid nasal sprays but it has not shown any promising results. You can try, Steam inhalation with plain water three times daily. Wishing you speedy recovery.
