Lot of Cough since one month
Got sore throat followed by coughing. Consulted doctor who prescribed antibiotic( cefopoxime) , anti allergic, cough syrup dr.reddy resewas. Had these medicines and also Took steam continuously for 2 weeks . Felt better after this treatment and coughing happened only at night when i laid down to sleep. 2days before had cold which was very moderate and got well within a day. But Since yesterday evening, having continuous coughing again and whole day today as well. Kindlt suggest some prescription. Can i take azithromycin 500mg as i have already taken cefopodexine for 5days some days before.

Yes,you can take Azithromycin 500mg od for 5 days.warm saline gargle twice daily will hasten recovery
