Low haemoglobin
I was rushed into hospital Tuesday and it was discovered I have an ulcer which was bleeding. My HGB levels were 82. They put me on IV of omeprazole for 72 hours and I should be going home tomorrow but now my HGB levels are 77. I am so worried. Why am i not getting better?

U are suffering from gestric ulcer and may be erosions.due to this u have complain of heametemesis mean vomiting in blood, and heart burn ,pain in epigastric region specially after taking food. And due to this Lose of blood in vomiting u r suffrer from low HEMOGLOBIN.means blood loss anemia. First of all we find out the cause of gastric ulcer and eroisn then we can start the proper treatment of this and same time start the treatment of low haemoglobin.
