Anaemia needs extensive work up and history to know the exact cause. Is there any history of blood loss like blood through urine , cough , vomiting, stool or through menstruation ? Do you have any other symptoms like fever, cough, abdominal pain ? Any history of black stool?
Please consult me for further management. I would recommend following tests as part of anaemia work up
1. CBC with GBP
2. Reticulocyte count
3. Iron profile
4. Urine RM
5. Stool RM occult blood, cyst parasite
