Hi, At this age a Hemoglobin of 7.2 is significantly low and an associated symptom of black colored stool is indicative of internal gastric / colonic bleeding.
Any internal bleeds either due to an ulcer or bleeding vessels can slowly appear as black colored stools and this regular loss of blood leads to low Hemoglobin.

Please immediately seek a gastroenterologist opinion for proper treatment and management based on your symptoms its looking like Gastrointestinal bleed only
You may be advised for endoscopy or colonoscopy as well or may be asked for CT imaging
