Lower abdominal and back pain
I am 14 weeks pregnant now. I get lower abdominal and back pain frequently. I tested for urinary infection, but it was negative. Is this pain common ?

No need to worry you said you are 14 week pregnant which comes to 3 and a half month pregnancy and you are having backache ,your doctor will prescribe calcium tablets which need to be taken for further nine months and which can alleviate your pain ,or it may continue till last term don't take any pain killer .

Yes pains of abdomen and back are common in pregnancy..but if they are excessive,then consult a doctor. I hope u have started Ur vitamin D and calcium supplements..If not then these vague pains l get reduced by supplementation. Regards Dr Deepika Gupta BHMS MD
