Lumbar puncture
Hi doctor I have a problem in my brain and I have to do a lumbar puncure but I didn't understand what it is. Can you explain me? does it hurt? how long will it take it? I am scared of needles what can I do?

Lumbar puncture is done to remove csf. Very thin needle is passed in low back . If u are afraid of pain ask ur doctor for local anaesthesia. It hardly takes 5min.
