Lump occurred where injection is given
Hello doctor, my baby is 3 months old and Thursday she had penta dose 2..but area where injection was given became tight like lump... And no swelling and pain... What should be done..

If baby is feeling pain.( excessive cry)
than give paracetamol drop...
Otherwise it's normal...

Since more than 24 hours have passed,and there's no pain,at this stage,warm compresses for 5 mins each,done 3-4 times a day will help.
Even if you leave it alone,it will dissolve by itself over a few week's time.
Relax,it's simple tissue reaction,not rare.
