Just today I noticed there's a lump under my mother's arm and it's not visible but can be felt. She said it's been there since 1-2 years. Its very small and more like a hard lump underneath the skin, I asked if there are more but she assured just this one. I think I'll go consultant a doctor but I don't know which doctor to consult. Should it come under dermatology or what ? Please help.

If there is a lump which seems hard then immediately consult a surgeon. make sure complete evaluation of breast and armpits is done. It may be minor but always keep in mind the possibility cancers. It is better to be safe about these things and Surgeon/ breast specialist are the best people to consult in this scenario
