Respected doctor,
My sister is undergoing through the pulmonary tuberculosis treatment from 3 months. Now her x-ray has done which says 45% damage on right lung and 15% damage to the left lung. Seeing this numbers it's hard to predict a non medical person to guess about its risk. Doctors has told she has lung cavities. Are these numbers (45% damage on right lung and 15% damage on left lung) matter of concern? Also at current she can walk, sit. But she can not walk for long time, she feels exhausted. Her age is 20 years. Is there a chance her cavitary lung can come back to its original shape and size ? Also can this lung damage be reversed? As she is young.
