Masturbation addiction
Hello, I was on medication of Depran forte 20 mg which was prescribed by doctor for anxiety. But from last 8 days I have stopped the tablet. But am not feeling good. Mood swings are happening, I feel extreme urge to masturbate every night which was also the case before the treatment of doctor. But when I was on medication everything was in control. Should i start tablet again because masturbation is affecting my health?

Discontinuing medication abruptly, especially medication prescribed for anxiety like Depran forte (escitalopram), can sometimes lead to withdrawal symptoms or a recurrence of symptoms. It's possible that the mood swings and increased urge to masturbate you're experiencing are related to the discontinuation of the medication. If you were feeling better and your symptoms were under control while you were taking Depran forte, it might be worth considering discussing your current situation with a psychiatrist. Psychiatrist can evaluate your symptoms, provide guidance on whether restarting the medication or exploring other treatment options would be appropriate, and help you manage any withdrawal effects you may be experiencing.
