Hello, my sister got diagnosed with MDR tuberculosis last month.she has been advised 2 yrs treatment.I  wanted to know  Is it completely curable? please help.

It is curable but not in aii cases If sputum is positive after MDR treatment it is called xdr-tb.

Surgery can also cure it . But drugs form a Backbone of the therapy . Pls post chest x-ray !
