Can paracetamol be taken while breastfeeding? I have fever and i took paracetamol of 500mg and now my baby is sleeping after every feed.. Usually he doesn't do this after every feed

Don't worry...you can take paracetamol though u r breast feeding... Paracetamol wont cause sleepiness in ur baby...

You can take paracetamol, that won’t harm the baby. If you are having viral fever, then being in close contact with you, your baby can also catch a fever.

Watch out for the baby since baby is sleepy ,could be a early sign before fever too.

You can take during breast feeding, only little amount of the drug secreted through breast milk which do not harm your baby
