Medicine for pneumonia
My mother was diagnosed as pneumonia patient at st. Lukes E.R. The attending physician gave her medine for 15 days only but her cough troubled her at night so she cant sleep well,I just want to know if you can give her right medication or to whom we can go to check up her, she is not allowed to go outside her house and we are bothered by her condition,  can anyone help me please? Any small help will be much appreciated thank u so much.

For a medical emergency you can take the payient to a hospital where a local doctor would be able to first diagnose the cause of her pneumonia. This is to be followed up with the treatment for that specific cause of pneumonia. He may also help with a few medicines for control of the symptom of cough though I would suggest that the treating doctor is the best judge on medicines required for managing someone’s cough.
