Do psychiatrists ever require monthly sessions for prescription refills of anxiety/depression meds? I’ve had ongoing treatment for those issues and I didn’t require monthly visits.
I’m asking because a close relative states that she has to see her psychiatrist monthly in order to get her prescription refill. She’s implied it’s for anxiety/depression, but never truly disclosed her diagnoses. Her behavioral patterns are not consistent with anxiety/depression either
