Hello. Firstly, I would like to tell you that your worries and fears are valid. COVID-19 is a dangerous and scary virus and the extent of its effects are still not fully known. Since you tested positive, but have recovered thankfully, there is bound to be some paranoia regarding the symptoms. It is a scary disease, so for you to feel like you still have some symptoms is fairly normal. However, you must remember that once you have contracted the virus and been treated for it, you will develop antibodies that will help you not contract the infection immediately. Beyond this, consider getting the vaccine if you haven't already, once a significant amount of time has passed (at least one month) since your recovery. (Always check with your doctor before making any medical decisions.) This paranoia that you are feeling is understandable, but try to reason with yourself. If you are taking all the appropriate steps to keep yourself safe and following all the protocols strictly then the chances of you contracting the virus again will lower significantly. Having said that, you should still consider seeking professional help from a mental health expert to find more stability in your thought process. With the assistance of a therapist you will be able to manage your paranoia better, which will help subside some of the fear you feel. Your thoughts and reasoning will also become easier to process and your fears will become less pressing and easy to deal with. There are several organizations and independent setups that offer free or affordable therapy with various offers that you can avail. They provide online therapy which can be face-to-face or via text, based on your preference. Take care!
