Taking metformin with food can help
To reduce nausea ,vomiting ,diarrhoea,stomach discomfort
Long term use of tab metformin can cause anemia,vitamin b12 deficiency
So you should check
vit b12
To managing these side effects
You should take extended release version of metformin

PCOD is lifestyle problem.
First you change your lifestyle. Follow healthy lifestyle.
If overweight then try to reduce weight.
Morning walk daily.
Exercise and yoga.
Reduce carbohydrates in diet
Avoid fast food.
Avoid packed food and juices.
Remain hydrated.
After following all these for 3 mths,if problem persists then you can start medicine.
