Mild hepatomegaly
Respected Sir/Madam, I did a whole abdomen USG test and the impression of the test was mild hepatomegaly with grade 1 hepatic steatosis, is it serious ?sometime  I am suffering from burning sensation in my abdomen, I have attached my USG and blood report ( my ECG and Echocardiogram report s are normal, please give me your valuable advice. M

Hi there, It is grade 1 hepatomegaly due to tiny simple cysts in your liver with mild steatosis. It is most likely a benign lesion which will not cause much of a problem. However, it is not confirmed that it will not. In very rare circumstances, it can increase cause more problems and lead to liver failure. Not to scare you. Follow up with GastroHepatic Surgeon for a opinion and regular follow ups.
