Hi Anterior knee pain most often is due to patellofemoral problems. Where exactly is the pain? What’s the frequency? Severity? What activities aggravate it? Is there pain in rest/ squatting/climbing stairs/ walking? These are few questions need answering to better understand your condition.

Need to find out if pain is at rest or with certain activities or positions. A clinical examination will further add to the information. Most of the times it’s just muscle weakness or mild softening of knee cap cartilage that can lead to such kind of pain
Next Steps
Consult if pain is bothersome
