Mild pelvicalyceal splitting in kidney
Hello! I had a month long mid back pain which got worse on a run. I visited my general surgeon and he prescribed a usg. The scan found microliths and mild pelvicalyceal splitting. What does this mean and how can it be treated?

That can mean mild obstruction at the pelviureteric junction. Repeat the USG ABDOMEN scan after 1 month. If the finding is persistent, you need a radionuclide renal scan
