Modified STARR
I have problem of obstructive Defecation..I also have SRUS..Previous doctors recommended STARR surgery...Today met a new doctor who said he would do STARR only but in a modified manner by inflating the rectum with CO2,and would place cameras through bigger proctoscope for clarity because in STARR procedure there is less visualization..I want to know whether this procedure is Ok or not..He also said blood and mucus passage will stop but whether defecation will be smooth or not, will be understood after the surgery only..I want to know is this procedure good?kindly tell me..Please help me take the correct decision..
