Not all patient with mood disorders on treatment experience epileptic seizure. Now let me clear your doubt please read carefully. course of mood disorder varies from person to person. Seizures may occur due to many reason - but in mood disorder due to certain medication some person's threshold become low, means they are prone for seizure more easily than general population. But this happens very rarely because most of the time antiepileptic with mood stabilizer property is being selected by psychiatrist for the treatment of mood disorders so no need to worry in that case. Thank you.
