Brushing twice a day following a proper brushing technique (ask your dentist) is more than sufficient. Night brush is very important as the flow of saliva reduces during night thus making the teeth susceptible to decay. Also rinse well after every meal to allow the remaining food particles flush out ,thus keeping the mouth clean for longer durations.
Next Steps
In case your prone to plaque and tartar accumulation use a mouth wash .
Health Tips
Don't overbrush as it also leads to tooth abrasions.

Normal brushing daily aided by warm salt water mouth wash is good.
Next Steps
Use warm salt water mouth wash not more than 3 to 4 times a week, swish and spit. All have limitations, so even salt.
Health Tips
One of greatest benefits of salt water mouth wash is it is an ideal antibacterial, alcohol free as compared to many commercially available mouth wash and also helps to dislodge food particles in narrow spaces between teeth and other natural crevices where your brush or floss may not reach.
Best practise is just to brush twice daily but properly. no need of saline rinse or mouth wash as the mouth wash tends to stain the teeth if used for more than 2 weeks.
Best is brushing twice+flossing+mouthwash...also get a scaling/check up done every 6 months...that way you can ensure that you did everything you can to maintain a good oral hygeine
No need of two options. Brushing twice a day in PROPER TECHNIQUE, is needed. Please go through some online videos from good soirces, or consult a good dentist.
