These medicines will work to reduce the typhoid?. So confused and I am seeing the fever if I missed(1 instance) or 1hr late(3instance) to give para syrub at anytime..
Pediatrician told that give after these medicine, we will see the further treatment..

1. Ideal test for diagnosis of Typhoid in the first week of illness should have been Typhidot M rather than Widal test as the latter may give confusing results in the first week
2. Considering the associated findings of cough and cold along with fever and only 3 days gone by since start of all complaints I would still put a viral infection higher on the cards .
3. In case it is typhoid also, both Cefixime and Amoxy clav don't have to be given . You should give only cefixime in case we suspect typhoid
4. Don't be scared that your child has got typhoid . It's a easily treatable disease . However if with oral medications child is not responding in about 48 hrs after starting treatment he will need to give him injectables
