Hi dear,
See there is abundant research data on use of olanzapine in pregnancy.. particularly first three months....about being relatively safe or unsafe for baby...But few important points to be noted are..Whether your wife developed Psychosis during pregnancy/ or since long she is being diagnosed and under treatment/ Is she stable on olanzapine since long/ or she developed Acute episode recently and was managed with olanzapine...Whether your Psychiatrist is aware of her pregnancy or not?..Because in case there is severe acute Psychosis/ frequent relapses in past...So continuing medication is wise to avoid harm to mother's and baby health..If it's not the situation , better discuss with your Psychiatrist in detail....Yes you have full right to know details ...And even every Doctor works for healthy recovery of you...Hope it helps.. regards
