I have pain in my neck on the left side. It's been quite some time and the pain doesn't go away. It's slowly moving towards the right side of the neck too.

U have cervical myalgia which can be because of bad posture or repeated stress injury. Please consult Ortho surgeon and rule any tight muscles which may require Physiotherapy and medicines.
