Hello doctors
My mom is 75 years and has been taking aztolet 10 for cholesterol since 8- 9 months and doctor now changed it to rozalto 10.
Can you please advise the differnce as I couldn't speak to the doctor as I am not able to connect with the doctor.
Kindly advise . Thank you 🙏

Hi dear
It is a different kind of combination for management of cholesterol
May be the previous medicine would not have had that much better control so he has changed it
If u still have doubt please consult on practo and share her cholesterol report so that i can guide u further

Both medicines beling to statins .aztolet is combination of statin and blood thinner,where as rozalto contains only statin.Yiur mother can use it without any problem and it's a better statin.

Aztolet 10 mg contain - atorvastatin and clopidogrel and
rozalet 10 mg contain rosuvastatin and clopidogrel .
rosuvastatin is better than atorvastatin so you can take rozalet for better response.

Aztolet is a combination of statin and a blood thinner.while rozalto is a statin.your doctor probably had a good reason to stop the blood thinner
