After a recent office check-up, I discovered that my cholesterol levels were slightly elevated. My previous report from two months ago showed the following values: weight 70 kg, age 28, height 5’6”,
LDL cholesterol 138 mg/dL,
triglycerides 180 mg/dL, total cholesterol 210 mg/dL, and
HDL cholesterol 34 mg/dL. Following dietary changes and a few kilograms of weight loss, my latest results after 2 months are: weight 65 kg, LDL cholesterol 131 mg/dL, triglycerides 127 mg/dL, HDL cholesterol 36 mg/dL, and total cholesterol 193 mg/dL.
While I have seen improvements in most areas, I would appreciate advice on how to further improve my
lipid profile, especially raising HDL levels, and whether I should consider any additional steps. I have not started any medication yet.
