I'm really sorry to hear that you've been feeling this way for the past six months. It's essential to seek support and guidance during challenging times like this. Reach Out for Professional Help: The feelings you've described may indicate depression or anxiety, and it's crucial to consult with a mental health professional. They can assess your situation and provide strategies to help you overcome these feelings. Talk to a Trusted Person: Confide in someone you trust, such as a close friend or family member. Sharing your feelings and concerns with someone can provide emotional support and a different perspective on your situation. Practice Self-Care: Make sure you're taking care of your physical and mental well-being. This includes getting enough sleep, eating a balanced diet, and engaging in regular physical activity.

Hi. The reasons for you to feel this way could be mental exertion and lack of interest in even everyday activities. You may be currently experiencing brain fog where you are not able to think or act clearly and just about struggling with it. I would suggest you to take a break and practice self-compassion rather than self-criticism. It is okay and normal to experience this, but since you have been feeling so for a long time, it could be better to seek counselling/therapy. That can help you get more clarity and self-awareness. Try to indulge in fun activities or physical work out everyday. Try and maintain a healthy diet, home cooked nutritious food that can boost mood and make you feel better. Many other practices and right counselling can help you cope with this. Taking time out for yourself and understanding your self, the triggers etc is important and I am here to help.
Next Steps
Seek counselling/ therapy.

Since you have your present symptoms for the past 6 months, I would suggest you to consult a psychologist who will be able to assess if you need to consult a psychiatrist or not, or if she / he will be able to deal with it directly. I do get a feeling that you may need some help from a psychiatrist since you say that you are unable to hear others' voices and you feel that they are speaking in a different language. Whether you consult a psychologist or a psychiatrist, I wish to caution you about the possibility of your being reluctant to do that especially due to the psycho-social conditioning that many of us get into as far as seeking professional help for mental health conditions is concerned. I would suggest you to try and overcome such feelings if you are carrying, if at all, and seek help as I have suggested so that you can get better at the earliest.
