Not able to walk knee problem
Xray is attached for both the legs. Father is not able to walk since yesterday. There has been pain in both the knee but from tomorrow not able to walk. Local doctor suggest for knee replacement surgery. Kindly advice after going through xray.

X-ray is not very bad . Most likely she will benefit from knee strengthening exercises , knee injections and medicines.

Although there is a generalised osteoarthritis. But specific areas have high OA. Left knee- Medical comportment OA. Right knee- Patellofemoral OA.
Next Steps
Although The Osteoarthritis grade is quiet high (3), you can plan intrarticular injection, the response is doubtful though.
Health Tips
Total knee replacement is not a bad idea for long run. But sometimes xrays are not everything, patient’s actual condition and response to the injection will decide if he need TKR for long term relief.
