Oh no, Medicine
Taking medicines for diabetes has become more and more of an hurdle for me. I often find myself skipping pills, being a bit ignorant even when knowing the side effects. There are days I get supper irritated and can't calm down. I have slowly stopped believing in allopathic treatment and am looking for someone who an understand a young adult and her problems. I don't feel like talking medicines for anything at all. What do I do?!

Hello ! I understand how it feels to have something at a young age when you least expect it. Especially when it's chronic and you need constant follow ups and medicines etc and feels like it interferes with your lifestyle. Also the conditions associated with diabetes can be frustrating and this further has a bearing on your mood. Diabetes is commonly associated withood problems where you can feel helpless hopeless and irritable and lack of focus and concentration and may have difficulty in accepting this situation. I see that you are in a lot of distress and this needs to be addressed.
Next Steps
Stay calm , accept the situation and try and maintain an active lifestyle and diet plan along with medicines. Also consult a psychiatrist who can evaluate you for any mood issues and the lack of motivation etc . Therapy helps ! Get well soon. Best wishes !
