Opinion regarding knee surgery
My wife is having a knee problem. After getting MRI test of her knee doctor suggested us to do surgery for her leg. MRI result: Displaced radial root at posterior root attachment of medical meniscus with grade II signal & myxoid degeneration in body and posterior horn.

A displaced radial root tear of the medial meniscus needs to be operated if the patient does not have arthritic changes in the knee (young patients). Considering she is symptomatic even after conservative management.. surgery really seems to be the appropriate option in order to prevent early arthritis in the future.
