Opinion regarding psychologist consult
I feel sad, no desire to wake up, no happiness in whatever i do, no motivation to do anything, hardly got any friends, afraid of interactions, sometimes after doing something there comes a thought of dying. Just ending this as all seems a waste, draws no conclusion. Feeling tired, exhausted. Thought of dying hardly ever leaves my mind. Somebody says abt killing, i say go ahead and get this over with. Can spend around 10 12 days at home without stepping out and it doesn't effect me. Dont know if i am just acting out or this is how adult life is or something is wrong with me. I feel hurt, broken, unable to express my emotions. Just everything seems futile. Please write me to know what should i do about it. Counselling, therapy or psychologist or better alternative. At this point anything that will help.

Feeling low, having crying spells, sleep and appetite disturbances, and difficulty in concentration and attention are some of the signs of Depression. Consult a Psychiatrist for a detailed assessment. It is likely with medication and counseling the symptoms will improve. If you are feeling suicidal or hopeless consult a Psychiatrist immediately.
