Oral typhoid vaccine with fever
I am taking Vivotif (oral typhoid vaccine). The day after the first dose (day 2), I had an event that involved more alcohol than expected, and I woke up with a mild fever on day 3. I took the second dose in the evening of day 3, as directed by the schedule. Now I'm freaking out that between the alcohol and the fever, I might develop typhoid from the vaccine rather than being protected. Is this possible?

There is generally no interaction between alcohol and your vaccine. Sometimes, you might develop fever because of vaccine. As they are live attenuated strains.
