Ovarian cyst- Endometrioma / Hemorrhagic
I am writing this on behalf of my wife who is 28 years old. We are married and started planning a baby for the last 2 months. But a week back she had a severe lower abdominal pain. We consulted a gynaecologist and as per her instruction, Transvaginal Ultrasonography and Urinary Tract infection tests were performed. UTI was fine and the result of TVS is given towards the bottom. The pain which she had in the morning continued till next day morning , but the pain had already moved to upper abdomin where it got reduced after having ginger and curd. Doctor told that it is recommended to go for laproscopy and to remove the cysts asap as it will cause infertility. When we asked about other option , The doctor advised to take medication(cabergoline 0.5 mg) for 8 weeks and to stop trying for conceiving during this period. And after 8 weeks to perform the scan again and to do laproscopy Could you please advise if this will cause infertility and please guide us. Report attached.

I have carefully evaluated your condition I would not suggest you to undergo surgery at present She might be suffering from endometriosis and adenomyosis But you need to understand the basic pathology behind this, I can't explain it to you on this forum but you need to understand that such type of cyst tend to recur again and again despite surgical correction and aggressive surgeries will deplete the ovarian reserve I would suggest conservative management Kindly consult at clinic for detailed evaluation
