Ayurveda is personalized medicine. The dose and the choice of medicines depend on person's body type, health condition and various other factors which are decided by the yukti (skill and expertise) of the  doctor who is treating the patient than what is written on the bottle. So trust your doctor and follow as prescribed than the general dosage written on the bottle by the manufacturer.
