Overthinking
I am emotionally dependent on others. I don't feel happy with myself. I am overthinking mostly and don't do things which are important to me. I feel no motivation to do anything because of all the past failures I had in life. What should I do?

It seems that you are showing off signs of depression. It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated. It needs to be treated in a holistic approach. It can be well treated with counseling sessions and homeopathic medicine effectively and without any side effects or addiction. You need an expert psychologist who is a good homeopathic physician.

Hi It sounds like you're going through a tough time, struggling with emotional dependency, low self-esteem, and lack of motivation due to past failures. It's important to address these issues gradually and with self-compassion. Consider seeking therapy to explore the root causes of your emotional dependency and develop coping strategies. Break tasks into smaller, achievable goals, and challenge negative thoughts. Focus on self-improvement rather than dwelling on past failures, and build a support network of trusted individuals. Practice self-care, and if necessary, consult with a psychiatrist about medication options. Remember, progress takes time, but with patience and support, you can work towards feeling happier and more fulfilled in your life.

Hi, Thank you for writing in. I understand that past failures can have a major impact on you, however it’s important to understand that those were in the past. I would request you to maintain a journal to write down all your thoughts and contain them. You could also try to have a dedicated worry time after which you stop worrying.
Next Steps
Counselling sessions can really help. You can book a slot with me.

Dear User, Overthinking often impairs our ability to function in day to day life. To reduce overthinking, try focusing more on the present moment. The task and activity that you are doing, be more mindful about it. Try distracting yourself with the activities that you enjoy doing. Sessions with a clinical Psycholigist would be helpful in breaking the negative thoughts and unhealthy thinking patterns.
