Hi, To manage nighttime overthinking and improve your sleep quality, consider establishing a calming bedtime routine. Aim to wind down at least an hour before sleep by engaging in relaxing activities, such as reading, gentle yoga, or deep breathing exercises. Limit screen time, as blue light can disrupt your natural sleep-wake cycle. Keep a journal beside your bed to jot down any thoughts or worries before sleeping, allowing your mind to offload concerns. Additionally, practicing mindfulness or meditation can help quiet racing thoughts and promote a sense of calm. Make your sleep environment conducive to rest by keeping it dark, cool, and quiet. Lastly, try to maintain a consistent sleep schedule, going to bed and waking up at the same time each day, to reinforce your body's natural rhythm. If persistent sleep issues occur, consider consulting a healthcare professional for further guidance.

Trying to make sense of something that’s bothering the mind is very natural process. It minds way to signal resolve what we are feeling uncertain about. It’s not always possible to immediately resolve what’s bothering however, and that’s it’s recommended to journal some of these thoughts before you get to bed. Reflect on those thoughts and keep them aside before you sleep reminding yourself you can get back to them in the morning. I hope this helps and additionally therapy always helps to resolve your issues.
