Ovulation drugs and pregnancy rate......
Hello doc.. we r planning for pregnancy for last 6-8 months.. my cycles are regular, but very occasionally delayed by a week sometimes... My gynaec after doing follicular study told that there are slight pco changes in RT ovary n she gave me ovulation induction drugs, but I didn't conceived..my follicular study is normal while on medication... Im not on any medication now.. want to knw that whethr ovulation drug impact will be still there in the next cycle also after stopped taking them... ???

Thank you for your question. In my experience PCOS does not affect one ovary. If your follicular study is normal periods regular and all other hormone parameters are normal you do not need ovulation induction. Your husband's semen analysis must be normal too. You are young and provided you are physically fit, exercise regularly and follow a healthy diet (and are of normal weight) you can expect to conceive naturally within 2 years of trying (WHO  states 90% chance of conception in the first two years of trying) So as long as you are taking folic acid and having regular intercourse it is ok to wait and see.

Continue to try naturally, relax and enjoy the process. it's important to not take pressure from relatives as the anxiety and stress can stop you from ovulating.
