I did my rct begin on 1 December 2017 he did the regular procedure. At that time after the treatment he did temporarily filling and reshuedule appointments. At each appointment he changes the dressings. It's almost 3 months and the pain is still there and he us regularly changing the dressings. Why this pain don't go?

it could be due to multiple reasons..
the doctor may have missed an extra root canal in the tooth which was left uncleaned..
over instrumentation of root canals which must have irritated the root tip area causing pain
improperly done or incomplete instrumentation of the root canals..
sometimes the medication or dressing may not reach the tip of your root due to improper cleaning of the canal system..hence it is essential that the doctor cleans all the canals following all the protocols

Normally infection in a root canal should disappear in 1-2 sittings. If not then some special medication are put in the canal and reviewed. But this is required in very few cases. Ask your dentist the reason the root canal is taking so long
