Pain in ear and throat and soar throat
Having pain in ear that is reaching the throat the pain is very mild...recently developed soar throat and dry cough very mild though...yes I smoke.

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. This pain can get referred to ear. You may need to take antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
