Based on your symptoms there are two possibilities . one there is infection in your gums which is causing the pain . two one or more teeth are carious and the decay is touching the pulp causing the pain to radiate to the ear and head. either condition needs to be examined and treated.
Next Steps
please visit a dentist near you.
Health Tips
do not have anything hot in temperature and do not do warm gargling it might increase the pain.

It really depends on where the pain is emanating from, it could be 3 possibilities: 1. you may have eaten something which has got stuck between 2 teeth and injured the interdental gum. 2. You have a hidden cavity which is touching the nerve of the tooth or 3. Gum infection involving all the gums.
Next Steps
Get yourself examined by your dentist. Possibilities 1 & 3 need a clean up, possibility 2 needs more treatment.
Health Tips
A clean up is recommended for all every 6 months.

Going only by the brief description that you have mentioned, the reason for your discomfort could be either infection in the gums locally or any involvement of both the teeth and the gums causing the infection to spread to the bone and making the pain radiate to the half of the face. A right diagnosis can be established after a proper clinical examination and an x-ray might also be required to help in the same. The right treatment can be instituted only after the right diagnosis has been established. Please contact the dentist as soon as possible before the symptoms aggravate further. Regards.
