Pain in Left Leg & Waist
I joined an IT company recently. I was at home for 8 months while waiting for my joining date. Around the time I joined the 9-6 day job, I have been having pain in my left lower part. Specifically from the waist to thighs and knees, all in left part. It has been over 3-4 weeks but it didn't went away. First I thought it must be due to the job, coz I have to sit for long hours and also taking the bus. Also I am overweight as of now. But it's been to long and it's starting to worry me. I don't eat much rather lesser than everyone else. Lacking the exercise part, but with this pain I am unable to sometimes even walk properly, exercise is a distant thing. Volini Gel helps relieve the pain. Please suggest some methods to get rid of it. Or if I would have to consult what doctor. I know I have to lose weight but it takes time. In the meanwhile how to get relieved from this pain.

Thanks for asking me to respond. It is important to determine if the pain is coming from the hip joint or from the lower back. For this you have to visit the nearest ortho surgeon. He will order xrays and MRI scans of necessary. Based on those a treatment strategy can be suggested. I can't prescribe meds as Practo prohibits me from doing so. In the other hand in order to lose weight you must reduce the quantity of all white color foods in your diet. Increase the quantity of vegetables and fruits instead. Once pain is under control you can resume long walks or gentle jogging in order to control your weight. God luck!
