I would advise you to meet a general surgeon to rule out any underlying cause. You can have a basic painkiller for now to reduce the pain. These following lifestyle changes maybe of help: - Do not strain during bowel movements - Eat food rich in fiber and bran based cereals. - Have laxatives for strain to be reduced during bowel movements - Sitting on a donut ring cushions can reduce the pain while sitting.
