Hey there! Your case seems to be that of morton's metatarsalgia. This condition can be treated by icing by putting ice pack or ice in soft towel and doing fomentation with it over the painfull area for about 7minutes. Give your foot rest and "soft" massage after the pain and burning sensation subsides somewhat. This condition worsens by wearing narrow or pointed shoes. So avoid wearing formal shoes and if necessary you can use foot arch pads or soft pads to support. Do some foot exercises like rolling a small ball with foot by placing it underneath. You can also place a cloth or towel on the floor and move it forward and backward with foot and toes( move the towel and not the foot; use foot muscles ). You can also do strengthening strengthening by using an exercise band by placing it around the toes on one end and holding with hand or around the knee on other end and do resisted plantar and dorsiflexion. These exercises should be done post pain recovery.
Next Steps
do icing, massage and recovery exercises post confirmation.
Health Tips
use foot pads in shoes and give rest to foot by keeping in cold water.

Consult in person with physiotherapist, need proper assessment, if it was narrow sole shoes then it would gives you pain. Ankle and calf stretching exercises can be done but consult online/offline for proper assessment to get proper treatment.

Check with a local physiotherapist. Wearing narrow leather shoes for long periods could restrict normal mechanics of movement. Calf stretching, ankle bones mobilisation,  foot muscle exercising could all help.
