I have been experiencing a sharp pain in my gums since two days, which seems to be a toothbrush injury..I am not sure. It usually pains whenever I talk, eat or move my lips. The gum seems to have detached itself from the tooth.. please suggest. Thanks

The main reason is improper brushing, which causes accumulation of tartar (calculus). Which is a calcified hard substance deposited on the surface of teeth. It eventually causes pain, inflammation and swelling of the gums as well as bad mouth odor.
Next Steps
Visit a Periodontist for scaling.
Health Tips
Brush twice daily using the correct brushing technique.

It's because of wrong brushing technique causing the problem as' tartar ' the white calcified deposits over the surface of the teeth.Hense , causing pain & inflammation of the gums so having trouble while movements like talking , eating etc.
Next Steps
visit dentist / periodontist for clinical examination.
Health Tips
brush 2 times daily on a regular basis with proper brushing technique as advised by the dentist / periodontist.
Hi. The plaque and calculus accumulation in your lower teeth has lead to inflammation of gums and tooth bearing structures (periodontitis) over a period of time. Hence the redness, mild swelling, pain, detached gums etc.
For now start warm water salt rinses and chlorhexidine mouthwash twice a day and consult a dentist/periodontist soon without much delay.
U have calculus on ur teeth and that has caused inflamed gums which cud be causing the pain. Please undergo a scaling and all your symptoms will reduce , visit ur nearest dentist for the same.
