Painful boil on nose
I have developed a painful boil on the top centre of the nose. That area has turned red (it is of the size of a coin) and I am experiencing pain without even touching it.
I develop boils / pimples quite often on cheeks, nose, chin and forehead which lasts for around 1 month and their mark stays for 6months. Pls advice

Thanks for the query. Based on your description it looks like a superficial bacterial infection usually caused by staphylococcus aureus. Sometimes they co-exist with fungal folliculitis. Kindly consult a dermatologist for exact diagnosis and a precise treatment plan. Its also important to prevent their relapse once you have got it cured. A decolonization regimen suggested by your doctor will help
