Painful lump in underarm
I was feeling some pain in the left side of chest, semi white coating on my tongue from 5 to 6 days and burning sensation in my eyes as well. I thought the pain may be something related to heart and consulted a general physician he asked my to do some tests like ECG,Thyriod , blood sugar random etc. Yet to do those tests accept ECG which was normal, but today morning i realised that there is a lump in my left underarm , the particular area where the lump is ain't painful but just below it my whole left side is paining. Its a small lump ,skin color. I also have mild straightning of cervical lordosis. Please suggest .

Thanks for the query. Lumps in the skin are not uncommon in general population. Any lump should be taken seriously and merits a consultation. In case it is painful and increasing in size, it requires urgent medical attention. Consider meeting a Dermatologist or surgeon for physical examination and if needed a fine needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) or skin biopsy can be done to ascertain the nature of this lump. Skin biopsy will be both diagnostic and therapeutic as well. It will be very comforting to know the diagnosis and will help to make precise treatment plan. Sometimes after a consultation and biopsy, active treatment may not be needed but periodic follow-up is all that may be necessary. Do not delay the consultation. Hope it helps.
