Pectoralis Major muscle rupture
While playing cricket i had pain near my shoulder. I rested for 20days. I played another tournament. I got the pain again in that area. The area had swollen and i had bruises on my biceps. It's been 5months since my injury. Should i rest or return to cricket. Or i need a physiotherapy?

Hi. It's a Ligament Injury and do not Heal itself. So You Need to Consult a Good Physiotherapist near You. Do Waste time in Waiting.  Your Treatment may include SWD, US Therapy, IFT, Laser Therapy etc.
Next Steps
Playing or Stressful Exercises may increase you Pain, So Use Arm Sling or Brace for Better Healing.

Avoid Playing till it heals as Further Rupture of Ligament may lead to increase Injury.

Before returning to cricket, you must undergo  correct assessment and rehabilitation along with conditioning exercises. Consult a physiotherapist.

Avoid playing until you are fully recovered, because it will become a nagging injury.
